Do Dham Yatra from Haridwar

The Char Dham Yatra is a set of four Hindu shrines in the Indian Himalayas and is one of the most visited pilgrimages in northern India. Hindu devotees come from all over the world to visit the yatra at least once in a lifetime.

Char Dham Yatra namely:

• Yamunotri
• Gangotri
• Kedarnath
• Badrinath

These are the temples, and all are situated in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand state.

Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Haridwar / Dehradun – Guptkashi/Sirsi/Sonprayag

Meal: Dinner only
Drive: 210 Km
Time: 08 hr

Arrive Haridwar / Dehradun, meet upon arrival and proceed to drive to Guptkashi.

Upon arrival proceed for check in the hotel.

The rest of the day is free.

Dinner and overnight hotel.

Day 02: Guptkashi – Sonprayag – Kedarnath

Meals: No meals
Drive: 30 Km (to Sonprayag)
Time: 02 hr
Gaurikund to Kedarnath trek: 22 Km
Trek time: 07–08 hr

Early morning 3–4 am, proceed for the drive to Sonprayag.

From Sonprayag 5 Km drive to Gaurikund local jeep is available. This sharing basis jeep guests can book directly at their own cost.

From Gaurikund to Kedarnath is a further 22 Km trek.

You can go by walk / pony / horse / doli at your own cost.

Upon arrival in Kedarnath check in the hotel.

Later visit:

• Kedarnath Temple
• Shankaracharya Samadhi
• Evening aarti at Kedarnath Temple.

Dinner and overnight hotel.

Day 03: Kedarnath – Sonprayag/Sirsi/Guptkashi

Meal: Dinner only
Trek: 22 Km (to Gaurikund)
Drive: 30 Km
Time: 02 hr

After breakfast, visit:

• Kedarnath Temple.

Later start your trek down to reach Gaurikund.

Gaurikund to Sonprayag local jeep. Guests can book that at their own cost.

Arrive Sonprayag, meet upon arrival and proceed to drive to Guptkashi/Sirsi/Ukhimath.

Upon arrival check in the hotel.

The rest of the day is free.

Dinner and overnight hotel.

Day 04: Guptkashi/Sirsi/Ukhimath – Badrinath

Meal: Breakfast & Dinner
Drive: 175 Km
Time: 07 hr

After breakfast, drive to Badrinath.

On arrival check in to the hotel.

In the evening visit:

• Badrinath Temple
• Evening aarti of Lord Badri Vishal.

Dinner and overnight hotel.

Day 05: Badrinath – Rishikesh

Meal: Breakfast & Dinner
Drive: 290 Km
Time: 10 hr

After breakfast visit:

• Mana Village
• Vyas Gufa
• Saraswati river origin point.

After visiting continue your drive to Rishikesh en-route pass through:

• Vishnuprayag
• Nandprayag
• Karanprayag
• Rudraprayag
• Devprayag

Upon arrival check in the hotel.

Dinner and overnight hotel.

Day 06: Rishikesh – Departure (By train/flight – TBA)

Meal: Breakfast only

After breakfast enjoy a sightseeing tour of Rishikesh visiting:

• Ram Jhoola
• Lakshman Jhoola
• Triveni Ghat.

In time you will be transferred to Haridwar / Rishikesh / Dehradun railway station OR Dehradun airport for onward journey.

Tour Price

Accommodation on double/triple/quad sharing basis except stay in Kedarnath will be using dormitory room at camp/ashram on sharing basis.

3. AC transport for all tours, transfers, sightseeing and intercity drives. AC will not work during hill drives.

• Air tickets/train tickets.
• GST.
• Items of personal nature like tips, laundry, telephone, beverages etc.
• Entrance fee / Local Guide at any place during the tour.
• Meals not mentioned in the “Inclusions” section.
• Anything not mentioned in the package includes a section.
• Dolly charges / Pony ride / Horse ride or Porter charges during trip.
• Any trekking equipment.
• Helicopter ticket for Kedarnath Temple from Phata/Guptkashi to Kedarnath.
• Special Pooja, VIP Darshan in Kedarnath and Badrinath Temple.

Read Carefully

• A/c will not work during hill drives.
• In case of any uncertain/unwanted circumstances like bad weather or land slide etc. the company will reschedule the itinerary accordingly. But, in that case guests have to pay for extra expenses like food, accommodation, car rental for extra days or anything which is already booked/arranged by the company.
• The company is not responsible if there will be any kind of fault such as electricity or water inside the hotel premises.
• After confirming Helicopter tickets, the company is not responsible for any kind of discrepancy that happened from the end of the Helicopter Company, like cancellation due to bad weather etc.
• Extra expenses other than the planned itinerary will be borne by the client on their own. Such as medical related problems, extra meals in between journeys or whatever is not mentioned in the itinerary, hotels other than booked one.
• Sightseeing which is out of the way of Char Dham Yatra will cost extra.

Important Notes

• All extras (F&B and any other services) availed by the customer will be on a direct payment basis.
• In case of odd number groups, the extra person shall be accommodated in the same room with an extra bed / mattress.
• The above rates are applicable to the Indian Nationals only.
• In Rishikesh, Green card permit will be taken from Uttarakhand Govt. The time may vary depending upon the crowd there while taking the permit.
• Any meals, services not utilized, partly utilized are non-refundable.

Checklist

• Please carry a photo ID and proof of the address along with you.
• Do carry sufficient light woolens from May to Aug and heavy woolens from Sept to Nov.
• Carry good walking shoes, canvas or sport shoes.
• If you wish you can carry dry eatables with you like biscuits, snacks and chocolates etc.
• Always hire a registered pony, kandi and porter.
• Move slowly and steadily and give the driver enough time for rest.
• Please carry an umbrella/rain coat and one torch.
• Carry sufficient money to pay for your personal expenses.
• It is advisable to carry your own personal medical kit.
• Avoid carrying heavy jewelry during the Yatra.
• Don’t use soap while bathing/washing clothes in the river.
• Don’t throw wrappers/poly bags on the road or in the forest during the journey.
• Don’t carry poly bags as it is banned in Uttarakhand.
