Chardham Yatra Package from Dehradun
The Char Dham Yatra is a set of four Hindu shrines in the Indian Himalayas and one of the most visited pilgrimages in northern India. Hindu devotees come from all over the world to make the yatra at least once in a lifetime.
The four dhams are Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. All the temples are in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand.
Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Haridwar – Barkot
Meet on arrival at Haridwar and drive to Barkot. Check in at the hotel. The rest of the day is free.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Barkot – Janki Chatti – Yamunotri – Janki Chatti – Barkot
After breakfast, drive to Janki Chatti, where the trek to Yamunotri starts. You can go on foot, by pony, horse or doli at your own cost.
Near the temple, a pooja can be offered to Divya Shila after bathing in the warm water of Jamunabai Kund and taking darshan of Yamunaji. Return to Janki Chatti, then drive back to Barkot.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Barkot – Uttarkashi
After breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi and check in at the hotel. The rest of the day is free.

Day 4: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi
Leave early in the morning for Gangotri and visit the Gangotri temple. Later, drive back to Uttarkashi.

Day 5: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi / Sirsi / Sonprayag
After breakfast, drive to Guptkashi and check in at the hotel. The rest of the day is free.

Day 6: Guptkashi – Sonprayag – Kedarnath
Leave at 3–4 am for Sonprayag. From Sonprayag, shared local jeeps run 5 km to Gaurikund; guests book these directly at their own cost. From Gaurikund it is a 22 km trek to Kedarnath. You can go on foot, by pony, horse or doli at your own cost.
On arrival, check in at the hotel. Later visit:
- Kedarnath Temple
- Shankaracharya Samadhi
- Evening aarti at Kedarnath Temple
Dinner and overnight stay.
Meals: No meals
Day 7: Kedarnath – Sonprayag / Sirsi / Guptkashi
After breakfast, visit Kedarnath temple, then trek down to Gaurikund. Take a local jeep from Gaurikund to Sonprayag (guests book at their own cost). Meet your driver at Sonprayag and drive to Guptkashi / Sirsi / Ukhimath.
Check in at the hotel. The rest of the day is free. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Guptkashi / Sirsi / Ukhimath – Badrinath
After breakfast, drive to Badrinath and check in at the hotel. In the evening visit:
- Badrinath Temple
- Evening aarti of Lord Badri Vishal

Day 9: Badrinath – Dehradun
After breakfast, visit:
- Mana Village
- Vyas Gufa
- Saraswati river origin point
Then continue to Dehradun, passing Vishnuprayag, Nandprayag, Karanprayag, Rudraprayag and Devprayag. On arrival, drop at Dehradun /Rishikesh / Haridwar.

Accommodation is on double/triple/quad sharing basis, except in Kedarnath, where you stay in a dormitory room at a camp/ashram on sharing basis.

Price Includes
- 9 nights’ stay at the hotels mentioned above or similar.
- Meals as specified in the itinerary.
- AC transport for all transfers, sightseeing and intercity drives. AC will not work during hill drives.
- All toll tax, parking, interstate tax and driver allowance.
Package Exclusions
- Air and train tickets.
- GST.
- Items of a personal nature such as tips, laundry, telephone and beverages.
- Entrance fees and local guide at any place during the tour.
- Meals not mentioned in the inclusions.
- Anything not mentioned in the package inclusions.
- Doli, pony or horse ride and porter charges during the trip.
- Any trekking equipment.
- Helicopter ticket to Kedarnath Temple from Phata / Guptkashi.
- Special pooja and VIP darshan at Kedarnath and Badrinath temples.
Read Carefully
- AC will not work in the car in hilly areas.
- In case of bad weather, landslides or other unforeseen circumstances, the company will reschedule the itinerary. The guest then pays for extra expenses such as food, accommodation, car rental for extra days, or anything already booked or arranged by the company.
- The company is not responsible for any fault in electricity or water inside hotel premises.
- After helicopter tickets are confirmed, the company is not responsible for any discrepancy on the helicopter company’s side, such as cancellation due to bad weather.
- Extra expenses outside the planned itinerary are borne by the client, such as medical problems, extra meals between journeys, anything not in the itinerary, and hotels other than those booked.
- Sightseeing outside the Char Dham route costs extra.
Important Notes
- All extras (food and beverages and any other services) availed by the customer are on a direct payment basis.
- For odd-numbered groups, the extra person is accommodated in the same room with an extra bed / mattress.
- The above rates are applicable to Indian nationals only.
- In Rishikesh, a green card permit is taken from the Uttarakhand Government. Timing may vary depending on the crowd.
- Meals and services not used or partly used are non-refundable.
Yatra Checklist
- Carry a photo ID and proof of address.
- Carry light woollens from May to August and heavy woollens from September to November.
- Carry good walking, canvas or sports shoes.
- Carry dry eatables such as biscuits, snacks and chocolates if you wish.
- Always hire a registered pony, kandi and porter.
- Move slowly and steadily, and give the driver enough time to rest.
- Carry an umbrella or raincoat and a torch.
- Carry enough money for personal expenses.
- Carry your own personal medical kit.
- Avoid carrying heavy jewellery during the yatra.
- Do not use soap while bathing or washing clothes in the river.
- Do not throw wrappers or poly bags on the road or in the forest.
- Do not carry poly bags, as they are banned in Uttarakhand.
